Design Lead, Delhi Brass · Design (Parsons School of Design, The New School)

Ishita Khullar is Design Lead at Delhi Brass. With eight years of practice and a design education from Parsons School of Design, she shapes how the house's pieces look and feel — curating the finish library, holding the line on proportion, and translating the briefs of architects and interior designers into fixtures and metalwork that suit real, lived-in Indian homes.

Owns an alarming number of brass swatches and is physically unable to walk past a badly proportioned lampshade without saying something.

Areas of expertise

Lighting & interior design, proportion & scale, finish selection, contemporary Indian interiors, and translating architect briefs into buildable pieces.

Every Delhi Brass Journal article is written by a member of our workshop and, where it makes a technical or product claim, reviewed by one of our directors. See our editorial standards or learn more about Delhi Brass.
