Working with a metalwork house
Delhi Brass has made architectural metalwork in Delhi NCR since 1949. Railings, main gates, CNC jali screens, window grills, compound-wall panels and commissioned sculpture are cast, cut, welded and finished on our own floor in Gurgaon rather than subcontracted, which is why a design can be adapted in metal, scale and finish instead of taken off a shelf.
What we make
Staircase and balcony railings in brass, forged iron, cast iron, steel and glass. Main gates in wrought iron, laser-cut jali and wood-and-steel. CNC jaali screens and partitions, window grills and facade panels. Commissioned sculpture in weathering steel, brass and bronze. We have delivered metalwork for M3M, DLF, Central Park and Paras Buildtech.
Do you make metalwork to a custom design?
Nearly all of it is. Send a sketch, an elevation, a photograph of the opening or a reference image and we will draw it properly, price it, make it and install it. Every design shown on these pages can be redrawn to your dimensions in another metal or at another scale.
Do you work outside Delhi NCR?
Yes. The workshop is in Gurgaon and we install across Delhi NCR directly. For projects elsewhere in India we fabricate here and coordinate installation with the site team, which works well for railings, gates and screens that can be shipped in sections.
How does pricing work for metalwork?
Everything is priced on request, because the quantity depends on the opening or the run of the stair. We measure on site, draw the design to your dimensions, then quote. Cost is driven by the metal, the span, the sheet thickness and how much hand ornament the design carries.
What are the lead times?
Four to six weeks from approved drawings for most railings and gates, six to twelve weeks for sculpture depending on scale. The drawing stage before that depends on how quickly the design is signed off.
Can you match metalwork to lighting in the same project?
Yes, and it is one of the reasons to use a single house for both. The same paint and finishing shop does our chandeliers and our railings, so a brass finish can be matched across a stair, a gate and the fittings inside a building rather than approximated.
