Start with the room, then check the ceiling height and the view from the doorway. A living room chandelier must leave clear space below it; over a dining table, its width should sit comfortably within the tabletop. Explore chandeliers for the living room, dining room chandeliers and foyer lights for designs selected by placement.
As a starting point, add a room’s length and width in feet to estimate a chandelier diameter in inches: a 16 × 14 ft room suggests about 30 inches. Keep at least seven feet of clearance where people walk. Over a dining table, position the lowest point roughly 30–36 inches above the surface. Brass gives warmth, crystal catches and scatters light, and dark iron brings a stronger outline. Read our chandelier size guide before settling on dimensions.
Our chandeliers ship worldwide, with regular exports to the USA, UK, EU and UAE. For custom lighting, dimensions, finishes and electrical components can be specified for the destination, including agreed UL, CE or other requirements. International ordering FAQs.

Common questions
Add the room's length and width in feet; that number, read in inches, is roughly the diameter you want. A 16ft by 14ft living room takes a chandelier around 30 inches across. Over a dining table, size to the table instead: about half to two-thirds its width, never wider than the table itself.
Allow two and a half to three inches of drop for every foot of ceiling height. Over a dining table, hang the base 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop. In an open room or walkway, keep at least seven feet of clear headroom beneath the fitting.
Antique and aged brass forgive dust and fingerprints and sit easily with wood, stone and older interiors, which makes them the lower-maintenance choice. Crystal and cut glass multiply whatever light you give them and suit a formal drawing room, but reward a dimmer and need occasional cleaning.
Yes. Because we build in our own Gurgaon workshop rather than importing, the scale, metal finish, glass and chain drop can all be set for your room. Tell us the ceiling height and we will specify the drop.
Catalogue pieces are dispatched in 14 to 16 days. A fully adapted or bespoke commission takes four to six weeks, with drawings confirmed before the floor begins.
