This is the smaller sibling of our Brass Petals chandelier, reworked at 12 inches across in an antique finish. Large pointed petals overlap in three tiers. The upper petals flare gently outward and the lower ones close to a soft point, so the shade reads as a lotus just before it opens.

Each petal is pure brass, etched by hand with fine lines that run from its base to its tip like the veins of a leaf. In the antique finish the lines settle dark against a deep olive-gold, and they catch the light as you move around the room.

When it is switched on, the petals stay solid and the light falls downward from the base, making a warm pool over a dining table, a kitchen counter or a bedside.

Finding the right spot

Over a small dining table or breakfast nook, hang it so the lowest petal tips sit about 75 to 90 cm above the tabletop. Over a kitchen counter, use two or three in a row. Beside a bed, hang one on each side in place of table lamps. For the warmest glow, use an E14 LED bulb in warm white (2700K to 3000K).

Care

Switch off at the mains and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Dust the petals with a soft, dry cloth or brush, following the direction of the etched lines. Avoid metal polish, abrasives and chemical cleaners, which will strip the antique finish.

Before you order

This pendant is made to order. It takes one E14 bulb, which is not included, and comes with a 2-year warranty. Production takes 10–14 days. Delivery within India typically takes a further 4–6 days; international transit is quoted for the destination.
