This lamp starts with a rounded ceramic urn. Its surface is finished by hand in chalk-white plaster, so every piece shows its own soft marks and variations. A slim brass ring sits at the neck, a brass ring forms the foot, and an ivory pleated empire shade adds a gentle, tailored softness.

Finding the right spot

At 29 inches tall, it suits a bedside table, a side table beside a sofa or a console in a calm, neutral room. It looks best with white, beige, linen and terracotta tones, and with natural wood. Use a warm white (2700K) bulb.

Care

Switch off and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Dust the plaster finish with a soft, dry brush or cloth; do not use water or polish on it. Wipe the brass with a dry cloth, and freshen the pleated shade with a soft brush.

This table lamp is made to order, and the hand-applied finish means each piece varies slightly. It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, and comes with a 2-year warranty. Production takes 10–14 days, followed by 4–6 days for delivery.
