This lamp turns that idea into a slim, square column. Panels of brass filigree in an antique finish form a tall box set on a flat foot, and crystal florets are fixed into the openwork so they glint as you move around it. A cream pleated empire shade sits above and keeps the overall look light.

Finding the right spot

At 27 inches tall with a slim base, it suits a bedside table, a narrow console or a side table in a bedroom or living room. Light from a nearby window or lamp makes the crystal sparkle. Use a warm white (2700K) bulb.

Care

Switch off and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Dust the filigree and crystal with a soft, dry brush. The antique finish is meant to deepen with time, so do not polish it back. Avoid abrasive pads and chemical cleaners. Freshen the shade with a soft brush.

This table lamp is made to order. It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included, and comes with a 2-year warranty. Production takes 10–14 days, followed by 4–6 days for delivery.
