Iron Vine Burlap Table Lamp

A rustic table lamp: a slim black stem with curling vine scrollwork in mild steel, on a square base under a natural burlap shade.

Bulb not included | 2-year warranty

Scrolling vines have decorated gates, balconies and railings for centuries, from French and Spanish ironwork to colonial verandas in India. Blacksmiths bent hot metal into leaves and tendrils so that a practical object felt like part of the garden.

This lamp borrows that look. A straight black stem rises from a heavy square base, and two vine scrolls in mild steel curl out from it, giving the lamp its outline from the side. A natural burlap shade adds texture and a relaxed, country feel.

What makes the Iron Vine distinctive

• Vine scrollwork: Hand-shaped curls that give the lamp its outline.
• Matte black steel: A wrought-iron look in mild steel.
• Square base: A heavy foot that keeps the lamp steady.
• Burlap shade: A natural, textured fabric that warms the light.
• Made to order in India: From Delhi Brass, a fourth-generation lighting and decorative metalwork company.

Finding the right spot

At 21 inches tall, it suits a bedside table, a small side table beside a reading chair, or a hallway shelf. It sits well with wood, linen, rattan and terracotta. Use a warm white (2700K) bulb.

Care

Switch off and let the bulb cool before cleaning. Dust the steel with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it dry to protect the finish. Brush the burlap shade gently with a soft brush. Avoid abrasive pads and chemical cleaners.
